Whole Life Discipleship (WLD) Movement – Pakistan
An Initiative of LORD’S HOME Pakistan
Collaborative Partners: Faith2Share & Evangelical Alliance Pakistan
- Executive Summary: From a Project to a National Movement
What initially began as a targeted initiative under LORD’S HOME Pakistan has now transformed into an indigenous, vibrant, and multi-denominational national movement. Today, the Whole Life Discipleship (WLD) vision has been wholeheartedly adopted and owned by local churches, denominational leaders, and grassroots organizations across Pakistan.
Moving beyond traditional pulpit-confined ministry, the movement actively breaks down the sacred-secular divide by embedding Christ-centered, whole-life witness across the 7 Spheres of Influence: Family, Religion/Church, Business/Economy, Education, Media, Government, and Arts/Culture. Across the country, regional bodies and local assemblies are taking initiative—producing contextual materials, establishing local training circles, and setting up provincial hubs to multiply disciples who live out their faith in everyday life.
- Strategic Growth Across the 7 Spheres
- Family & Children Discipleship (ADT Initiative)
- Decentralized Training: Local leaders and pastors trained under the Advanced Discipleship Training (ADT) model are discipling their congregations and launching family cells. In locations such as Mariam Nishat Colony, Mian Channu, Kasur, and Narowal, trained evangelists and women leaders are conducting door-to-door visits and household gatherings using contextual resources.
- Global Alignment: In September 2026, the movement partnered with the Christian Alliance for Orphans (CAFO Global Network) during the Collaborate 2026 summit, formally establishing the local WLD network as the domestic platform for family preservation, orphan care, and community-embedded mentoring across Lahore, Raiwind, and Islamabad.
- Business & Marketplace Discipleship (DML Initiative)
- Work as Worship: Through the Discipling Marketplace Leaders (DML) strategy, business owners, professionals, laborers, and field mission workers are being equipped to view their secular jobs as a divine calling and primary platform for evangelism.
- Strategic Gatherings: Landmark marketplace vision-casting conferences and consultations (such as those in Farooqabad and Lahore) have mobilized pastors to launch “Marketplace Sundays” and prompted institutions like the Language Recording Institute (LRI) to form dedicated Business-Mission Worker groups.
- Provincial Hubs & Indigenous Leadership
To ensure sustainable, decentralized growth, each province in Pakistan is developing a Local Regional Hub:
- Punjab Hub: Anchored by coordinated initiatives across Lahore, Sheikhupura, Faisalabad, Sialkot, Okara, and Kasur.
- Federal/Northern Hub: Active networks connecting Islamabad, Rawalpindi, and surrounding outreach areas.
- Sindh & Baluchistan Hubs: Emerging local leadership teams and network liaisons being mobilized to contextualize training and coordinate provincial efforts.
Local assemblies and ministries are actively funding, hosting, and facilitating their own training gatherings, demonstrating local ownership and sustainable multiplication.
- Digital Platform Launch: WLD Hub (wldhub.live)
To serve as the primary national nexus and an international meeting place for networking and collaboration, LORD’S HOME has developed and launched the dedicated web platform:
🌐 Website: https://wldhub.live/
This platform connects churches, para-church organizations, and marketplace leaders to share field reports, access training materials, and collaborate across regions.
- Partner Registration: Other organizations, ministries, networks, and churches wishing to formally connect and align with the national movement are invited to register and join the hub directly at:

- Movement Resources Developed by Local Leadership
The national WLD leadership team has finalized core structural documents and guides to help local assemblies contextualize whole-life discipleship:
- Whole Life Discipleship (WLD) Movement Framework (Pakistan National Vision)
- WLD Movement Manual-Booklet for Pakistani Churches
These documents—alongside practical toolkits and study materials—are publicly accessible and can be downloaded from the hub:

- Upcoming Major Gathering: In continuation of national expansion into Pakistan’s largest urban and commercial center, a national WLD Conference is scheduled to be held in Karachi in October 2027.
- Purpose: To consolidate provincial networks, celebrate indigenous breakthroughs across the 7 spheres, and mobilize southern ministry partnerships. Full schedule and registration details will be published on the hub platform.

Impact Stories from the Field
Story 1: Cultivating Discipleship Inside the Home (Family Sphere)
“For a long time, our view of ministry was confined entirely to Sunday services and church programs. When our church leadership engaged with the Whole Life Discipleship training and began implementing the ‘Living in Jesus’ (LIJ) model, our focus fundamentally shifted. We started a regular family gathering where parents are equipped to lead devotions, pray with their children daily, and address domestic challenges through biblical grace rather than cultural pressure. Today, families in our congregation have taken true ownership of their spiritual growth, and several mothers have organically started weekly Bible study groups right in their neighborhoods to mentor other Christian homes. Discipleship is no longer an isolated event for us; it has become our daily way of life.”
— Pastor Sultan Sagar, Mian Channu
Story 2: Commissioning Believers in the Marketplace (Business Sphere)
“I spent years viewing my daily work as purely secular—merely a means of survival that was completely separate from spiritual service. Participating in the WLD marketplace consultations dismantled that division and helped me grasp the biblical theology of work. I realized that my professional environment among shopkeepers, laborers, and clients is my primary God-given mission field. Instead of leaving faith behind on Sunday, I now approach business transactions with uncompromising honesty, fair dealing, and Christ-like integrity. Our local network is actively encouraging other professionals to see that work is worship, inspiring everyday believers to represent the Good News right in the heart of local commerce.”
— Balawal Masih, Field Mission Worker
